Dear Customers,
This weekend we sold 10 laying hens to a happy customer, and we will sell the rest next week.
Also, this weekend we continued the long journey of cutting down trees, splitting the wood, and drying it before selling next year.
Soon the lambs will be born, and I will post photos on the website as soon as possible.
Fun Fact: The reason that sheep mate in the fall is so that the lambs are born in the spring when the weather is mild and the grass is plentiful. This gives lambs the best chance for survival.
Thanks,
Harry and Lauren Hawkes
