Dear Customers,

We had an eventful weekend at Hill House Farm!

40 chicks were delivered on Thursday through the post office. We bought a variety of breeds including Americanas, Buff Orpintons, Barred Rock, Golden Comets and Rhode Island Reds. Attached are pictures of the 6-day old chicks

We also made 5 gallons of cider at our neighbor’s house. We are learning to apply our chemistry knowledge to the real world!

We delivered another load of firewood, and we are most likely sold out except for our preexisting orders.

Apple butter and the meat chickens are still for sale!

Sorry for sending the newsletter on Monday, but we were very busy yesterday with making apple cider.

Fun Fact: Archeologists have found evidence that humans have been enjoying apples since at least 6500 B.C.
